1. The Geometry of Pristine Vector Design
Vector tracing is the mathematical reconstruction of static raster images into scalable, resolution-independent vector paths. In a digital world where displays range from mini smartwatches to massive retinas, raster graphics are a major liability. JPEGs and PNGs rely on grid structures of colored pixels. When enlarged, those pixels stretch, creating blurry, jagged edges. Vectors, however, are governed by parametric equations—specifically, Bezier curves. Every line, curve, and shape is defined by anchor points, handle directions, and mathematical coordinate anchors. Our tracing process is entirely manual. Our designers study the source low-resolution asset, plotting bezier anchors with mathematical discipline. We place anchors exclusively at coordinates where the curve changes direction (inflection points and extrema). This keeps the vector path geometrically clean, lightweight, and easy to modify.
