1. What Is Vector Tracing and When Do You Need It?
Vector tracing (also called vector conversion) is the process of redrawing a low-quality image into a clean, scalable vector graphic. If your logo looks blurry when you zoom in or print it large, you need a vector version. Here's the difference: regular images (JPEGs, PNGs) are made of tiny colored squares called pixels. When you make them bigger, the pixels stretch and the image looks blurry and jagged. Vector files, on the other hand, use mathematical formulas to draw shapes.
